The Questions We Haven’t Asked Yet
10:30 a.m.
Most academic occasions celebrate what scholars have found. This one begins elsewhere — with what we have not yet thought to ask. The most interesting questions are still forming at the edges of what we know. Curiosity that bravely outpaces certainty is at the core of what it means to learn, discover, and be more fully human.
Cultivating that curiosity is one of the most altruistic and consequential things a university can do. Paired with the challenge and support of a purposeful community, curiosity is what builds the bridges from good thoughts to good words to good deeds, through the generative power of mentorship, interdisciplinary encounter, and bold inquiry. We gather not to present findings, but to ask for what we might yet seek, and to consider how the questions we ask shape the people we become.
Details on panelists and moderator(s) forthcoming.
